Review: I feel like a need a lifetime achievement award for figuring out how to descale this thing! But first I want to say how much I love this little Keurig! I love it so much that I am getting one for my son who is in the Air Force to use on his base in his dorm. I use my Keurig everyday! Sometimes twice a day! I make different flavored teas, ciders, cappuccinos, lattes and of course coffee:) Now let’s talk about the descaling. I’m going to tell you exactly how to do it! My descaling light didn’t come on until I had my Keurig for about 6 months. First turn your Keurig OFF. Fill the Keurig with water and half of the bottle of descaling solution. Next, without turning the Keurig on, hold down the 8 and 12 ounce buttons for about 3-4 seconds. Let go and the 12 ounce button and the descaling light should be flashing. Put a large coffee mug under the Keurig dispenser and press the 12ounce button. No need to open the top of the Keurig while you descale like you do when you are adding pods. Keep it closed the whole time you descale! Keep making 12 ounce cups until the “add water”light flashes. Add water and fill up the tank again. Go through these steps and press “12 ounce” each time. The descale light will turn off eventually. You may need to run through this process 3 times to make this thing happy :)

Review: This was exactly what I was looking for to replace my Pod coffee maker when it broke. I love the small footprint of this machine and that it doesn’t take up too much counter space. I also like the strong brew feature and that I can use it for hot water for tea (couldn’t do that with the old machine). Flavor of the coffee is OK- what one would expect from a pod. My one complaint is it prompts you add more water when the reservoir is still about 1/4 full even though it looks like there’s enough for one more cup. Overall, I am pleased with this coffee machine. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.
