Somewhat new to actually mixing ingredients, from the noise of a normal pressure cooker without doubt I thought I would blow up my home. But onward I marched. Almost a nine months later I finally made chili, the pressure cooker performing well for us rookies, without any scary steaming sounds. Chili turned out well. Tiny learning curve figuring out the settings. The 6 qt size fits my needs, though the pressure cooker is fairly big. Overall pleased, good price, easy to use and clean, nice look, and my home remains in one piece.
