Review: Original Review: I had high hopes from this peeler based on the reviews. But honestly, it hasn’t met my expectations. I am not sure if I received a defective or a dull peeler, but I need to apply more pressure to peel than my old peeler which I have been using for a couple years. The peels are thicker and the peeled surface is not smooth. I didnt like it at all while peeling apples, peeling potatoes were ok, but not great.

Review: It was a very sturdy piece of kitchen took, in a world of flimsy hand tools one often sees. I used it to peel tapioca, Tarro roots-a sticky, messy vegetable to peel-though it has tremendous health benefits- the skin came off with one pass, your hand never touching the gooey sticky stuff that covers the root.
