To help even further, the crumb tray at the bottom easily slides out for cleaning. So, you only need to occasionally wipe the interiors of the oven with a damp cloth, and that’s about it.

The Breville Smart Oven Pro has 0.8 cubic feet of interior space. The biggest problem is that you cannot fit a 9 x 13’’ pan inside. If you are a big baker, this may put you off big time, but if you are not, it is not a big deal.
Like all other toaster ovens, it gets a little too hot to touch outside. You will need to look out for any curious hands in your household. On the inside, there is a non-stick surface which makes it easy to wipe. It also has an interior light which is very useful. But remember that you will need to wipe down the light regularly to maintain visibility.
It has 5 different quartz heating elements which provide infrared cooking. It is ideal for hot food while maintaining moisture because the air doesn’t have to heat for the food to begin to cook. The uncooked food directly begins to absorb radiation and cook.
2- Ease of Use
The Breville Smart Oven Pro makes your job easier in lots of small ways. For example, the auto-shutoff feature lets you know when the food is ready, and then you will have no trouble getting your food as the magnetic auto-eject rack will push your food out halfway.
The oven is very intuitive to interact with, and the dials and buttons have clear markings that make it very easy to navigate your way around the oven’s features. With a few taps, you can change between Fahrenheit and Celcius, turn the interior light on and off, change the temperature and set a timer. When the food is cooking, the large display tells you the time left, the current temperature, and the cooking preset. The large glass window is also useful as it gives you a nice view of your food while cooking.

Durability is said to be one of the weaker sides of the Breville Smart Oven Pro. It comes with a 1-year warranty and though it probably won’t have any problems during that time, after 2-3 years, it starts to have problems. There are many comments on the internet that say the top heating elements or the fan break down after around 2 years.

The Breville Smart Oven Pro offers great flexibility when cooking with its powerful convection heating. It circulates the air inside with its fan to get a quick and even cooking and gives you crispy crusts with warm insides.
The fan can be a little noisy but it won’t be much of a problem. It also has a “keep warm” function if you are not ready to serve your dishes immediately. As mentioned before, The Breville Smart Oven Pro has quartz heating elements to provide infrared cooking too.

The Breville Smart Oven Pro is a high-end kitchen appliance that can find a useful place for itself in most kitchens. Cooking with kids is safer and usually less threatened by its size with a countertop oven. It has a smaller door than conventional ovens which makes getting burned less likely.

Review: I have forced my mother onto a diet because her cardiologist wants to give her bariatric surgery before he decides if any surgical intervention is necessary on her heart. One of the biggest problems about cooking when you are single is that your oven is too big for little jobs. In my mother’s case, it also holds baking sheets, cooking pots, strainers, etc. Between lugging out all that stuff, heating the oven, the wait, it is a little inconvenient.

Review: If you are like us – you hate to waste money. We thought our first Breville (just like this one) was broken and immediately ordered another one. When the new one arrived and we went to connect we found that our right angle plug adapter was the fault and the old oven was not broken at all! So our son gets the older one and we get the new one!! Bonus! The point is we don’t want to be without this fine oven. The new one works even better than the old one. The controls are much more precise and we are still in love. Truly the Rolls Royce of Toaster Ovens. Maybe more than some but WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!
