He had this exact juicer in the back of his car, attached to a battery, and he went all over the US offering juice to people in many different states while he, himself, lost something like 75lbs and felt like a new man. He got off all his medications he got so healthy. I figured I would see if I could tolerate vegetables this way with the pulp and fiber removed so they would be easier for my beleaguered digestive system to absorb. I didn’t know if I’d be able to deal with all the work involved with juicing since a side effect of IBS is also chronic fatigue. This juicer looked super easy to use on the documentary so I figured I would give it a shot. I studied before purchasing and knew that masticating juicers were more efficient at extracting juice. However, knowing myself and my fatigue issues, this juicer appealed to me because of the minimal prep work such as chopping and dicing of the vegetables that you need to do before juicing. Review: I had a Breville Juice Fountain Elite for years, and unfortunately don’t have it anymore and couldn’t afford to replace it. However, I could afford this one, and having missed juicing, I picked it up. Love it! It’s not the Elite, but it’s 1/3 the price of the Elite and just as effective. It does have a slight learning curve to it if you’re not used to juicing, or if you’ve used other juicers. But, it’s not difficult by any stretch of the imagination. if you’re making more than 2 quarts of juice, you are going to have to stop at some point and empty out the pulp. That’s easy, it’s no big deal. If you’re making something like OJ where there’s not going to be a lot of pulp, I imagine you can make a lot more. I mainly juice pulpy things like apples, carrots, and beets. Highly recommended!! Seriously, look at how many 5 Star reviews there are here, you’ll likely love this juicer.

Review: I really like this juicer so far and am a big fan of Breville equipment. I saw a few complaints about splatter. Mine didn’t as long as I used properly (pitcher lined up and used the tool to push the fruit/veg down the chute). My only complaint is having to trim peel off citrus first, but otherwise is great. I have done citrus, carrots, celery, ginger and spinach so far with great results and the volume it produces is exceptional. The leftover pulp is almost dry to the touch!
