Review: I just don’t trust leaving my house with it on high. Gets too hot, the unit has actually turned off. At first, I rated this 1 star, but after monitoring my crockpot while home while cooking in it, I haven’t had any problems cooking on low, and no further issues since having it on my ceramic cook top stove when cooking in it. The times I experienced problems I placed the cooker on a wood cutting board while on high setting. After experimenting with it further, I decided to continue using it while home. And I will keep it instead of buying another crockpot.

Review: Gave this product a 4 rather than 5, because unlike my larger crock pot that I am used to using, this one does not have a count down on the time left: Basically I have to write down what time I turned it on, so that I have to figure out when it will turn off. I think that should be a basic feature, looking back now….Other than that, and for the price, I think it does it’s job. It is very easy to clean and a nice size for the two of us (which is what I was looking for). Really miss the count down though and because of that would not buy this model again
