The Features of Cuisinart DCC-1200C Brew Central 12 Cup Coffee Maker

Keep Warm Option

Regular coffee, iced coffee, and cold brew are all perfect coffee options, but one coffee type, in particular, is not desirable in any way: the one gone cold. Especially since the start of Coronavirus times, and with the remote work model becoming our reality increasingly, it’s a stubborn fact that we need our coffees to stay warm for a longer time.

We have all been there, we all know that french press coffee gets cold very quickly and require us to start the whole process from the top. And it’s time-consuming! But thanks to the keep warm option of Cuisinart Coffee Maker, this is no longer a challenge since you can just press one button, and your coffee will stay how warm you want it to stay. Yes, this Cuisinart Brew Central even gives you the freedom to choose how hot your coffee will stay.

Compact and Elegant Looking

Finding a compact and cute-looking kitchen appliance is never an easy task. But also this is very important since kitchens are the most open to getting dirty and messy places in homes. This is why most people are always trying to find the most compact, not eye-straining kitchen appliances. And this Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central perfectly meets this criterion too.

Since this is an everyday item you will be using each day, maybe even more than a couple of times, it’s very important to fit nicely on your countertop and look good in your kitchen. And with its stainless steel finish and modern design, Cuisinart Brew Central Coffee Maker is an appliance that will upgrade your kitchen, rather than making it look messy. Also, Cuisinart’s design supports the use of waste-reduction metal forever filters or the traditional paper filters too.

The machine and the glass pot that comes with it look so chic and modern. Honestly, considering this pot can brew twelve cups of coffee, it’s amazing that it combines a sleek look and perfect fit with it. And it has a spout that is specially made to pour effortlessly and avoid dripping.

Brew Pause Function

Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central Coffee Maker is a programmable product, meaning that you can set the timer and prepare your coffee before you wake up. Amazing, right? But there’s more. You may wake up before the planned time, or there might be an emergency, and understandably you still want your coffee, but it’s still mid-brew.

Thanks to Cuisinart’s brew-pause function, this is not a problem anymore. Because when you hit brew pause, the machine retains the coffee inside the filter until you put the pot back in its place. This prevents brewed coffee from splashing all around and making a mess.

Although, it should be noted that if you have strong opinions about the taste of your coffee, letting it brew the whole pot might be a better idea since the taste and aroma will be a lot different at the start of the brewing process. But don’t worry, it only takes 7-8 minutes for Cuisinart to brew an entire pot!

Cup or Pot Options

Another outstanding feature of this Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central Coffee Maker is the cup or pot option, which makes it an ideal product for any household. Whether you are alone and just want a few cups of coffee for yourself or to brew for the whole family or your friends, this Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central is capable of both.

This way, you will not have to worry about leftover coffee and be able to save on both electricity and beans. And for when you have company, this Cuisinart Brew Central surely will not disappoint since it can brew twelve cups of coffee in just minutes. All you need to do is to add the amount of water you want and the amount of coffee you want!

Of course, at this step, you should remember to put the charcoal filter with this Cuisinart model inside the reservoir, especially if you are using tap water. This filter aids in removing the metals, chlorine, and other chemicals that might damage the quality of your coffee. This also helps with keeping your coffee maker cleaner and extending its life.

Final Verdict

After all that meticulous research, it is clear that even the most discerning coffee gourmets are satisfied with the quality and taste of the products of this Cuisinart Coffee Maker. On top of that, this Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central also has a self-clean button, which helps when you don’t have the time to do a thorough cleaning.

And what is most striking about this product is that, unlike most coffee makers on the market, this Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central allows you to brew for a dozen people without taking up a large space in your kitchen, being as simple and sleek as a single brewer but as capable as any larger coffee maker.

Another important point is that Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central comes with a three-year guarantee, which is exceptional for this industry. Of course, the package includes a detailed user handbook that explains how to set up and operate the machine, but still, Cuisinart encourages its customers to seek assistance in case there are any problems.

Ultimately, I believe we can agree that the Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker is one of the top coffee makers on the market. If a smart design that makes it easy for you to regulate the brewing process and offers a ton of convenient features is what you are looking for, this coffee maker might be the one for you.

Review: Attractive unit to leave on a kitchen counter. I am enjoying the use of this pot. Hope I can find the inner filters at a nearby store. I am still playing with the grind of coffee to make the perfect cup of coffee. I miss not having a coffee carafe made a of insulated stainless. Good price–Good quality.

Review: Had a previous Cruisinart that ground and brewed at the same time. It disturbed my neighbor and crapped out. This is a nice clean Joe maker. Makes some funny noises after brewing, but the coffee tastes great.

Review: I own the older version of this coffee maker and in white. This is the best and most reliable coffee maker I have ever had. The charcoal filters make the water taste better and I really like the 1-4 cup setting when I just want to have a few cups at one time. There is also a carafe heat setting which is very nice – I have tried the Keurig coffee maker and it doesn’t heat the water enough, I like hot coffee and it keeps it warm to hot (depending on how you set it) for over an hour and then turns off automatically. I would highly recommend this coffee maker. In fact, I am going to upgrade to the stainless since that’s what is in my kitchen and I am in need of a new glass carafe. Awesome product!

Review: In looking for a new coffee maker, I found that the water brewing temp is key to a great pot of coffee. I also found that in reading reviews on various sites, that most persons posting, had negitive experiances to share. I was left with the idea that no one make a good coffee maker. Was this valid? Or is it just that the majority of people post because they need to vent? If a million coffee maker units are sold, how many bad reviews are require to say it is a junker?

Review: This coffee maker makes coffee just fine. Really with the filter and everything I still notice no taste difference between it and my ten year old fifteen dollar Mr. Coffee. The problem with this is two details that I believe make for major annoyances. First one is the carafe that doesn’t have a lid that pivots like any other glass coffee maker, nor does it have a screw top like many of the stainless. No, it has a snap on lid that is a pain in the butt to get back on after you are done filling up the water to pour into the next major issue. There is no water marker on the outside, so get ready to keep a flashlight around to catch the water reflection off the inside markers. You might say what is the big issue with that it helps the aesthetics of this beautiful machine. The problem is that my wife is five foot tall, and I leave an hour earlier for work then she is even getting up. So, most of the time unless I am running late I prepare the machine for her and she just has to flip it on. Now though she has no way to know if I carried through on all parts of the setup. Yes, the coffee grounds in the filter is a good place to start, and I told her this myself, but she then reminded me that sometimes I am not always very awake and do one part then run off and forget the other part.

Review: When I bought this coffeemaker I figured I was getting my money’s worth. Trendy brand, trendy design, hefty price tag. All pointed to a quality product, right? Wrong, so, so wrong. It was not as easy to use as my old coffeemaker but I thought I’d eventually get use to it. Never got the time. Within two months, the electronics went wonky. The toggle on-off switch gave up the ghost. And it stopped working. The store I bought it from referred me to Cuisinart, and Cuisinart gave me the run around. Bottom line, it would have cost me more to repair than to replace. So I bought an el-cheepo coffeemaker and, you know what, it works like a charm and is much easier to fill and to clean than the defunct Cuisinart. Sure, it isn’t the trendiest kitchen gadget on the block, but when it breaks I will truly have had my money’s worth. Not like with the Cuisinart…
