Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker Review

Review: I like the Elite Keurig. After 2 weeks of dealing with my French Press coffee maker. I was glad to have my Keurig back. Had a snafu with another Keurig from a different seller. But Amazon made it right. The ease of Keurig coffee machines is what I’m talking about. But like everything nothing is perfect. Yes this machine feels cheaper then previous Keurig’s I have owned. This is my fourth. The answer is yes it feels cheaper. But also it has all the features I like. Timer to have machine on when I wake up. The single serve of one cup of Joe. The ability to just use the single serve pod container for own coffee. I did notice my coffee went cold quicker then my last Keurig. And by the French Press standard the Press coffee was wayyyyy hotter and lasted wayyyy longer heat wise. But I’m truly a Keurig fan. And I know what to expect from the Keurig brand. I’ll stand by the brand and will overlook the flaws it has. Great coffee maker check them out!

Review: Following a power surge just prior to Christmas 2022, our Keurig Elite was toast. There was no question as to reordering this specific model. Between home and office, I’ve had approximately six different Keurig models and this is my third Elite model. It programs easily and, for the most part, works flawlessly coming on and being ready for that first cup of morning coffee. There are rare instances where it doesn’t come on but it heats up quickly so that is only a minor irritation. The many available cups sizes offer a wide range of choice. I find that certain beverages such as the Apple Cider need a smaller cup size to avoid a weak flavor. The hot water option gets used on the coldest morning to preheat the coffee cups and also seems to flush out some residue from previous brews. I tried to reorder the maker directly from Keurig and was quite disappointed in their response to a long time customer. The “deal” that was offered was less of a bargain than the price shown on Amazon that day. The brewer arrived in two days, was well packaged, and worked flawlessly. We were happy customers to be able to quit using our French press for our morning coffee.

Review: This particular Keurig (I’ve owned many since they became) is the first one, that makes no mention about it, not supporting the echo K cup pods/capsules. It has a needle at the bottom as well as the one at the top. I have had to alter my coffee for compatibility. Had it said this in the description I wouldn’t have purchased it. I may just have to return it due to the fact that my purchased coffee is nonrefundable. I’m not really sure yet, I can also sell it at a higher price and have done exactly that to 3 unopened boxes containing 100 eco pods. Thank you for your business, Amazon! ;-)

Review: can’t see the reservoir from the front of the unit. Limited counter space forces me to place this unit so that the reservoir side is against the wall so you can’t see the water level. On my old one you could see it from the front. and yes, I am aware that a light comes on, but that does not give me a visual cue about how much water is actually left. This one I guess they were attempting to clean it up a little and make it look nicer but in doing that you can no longer see how much water is left. it’s annoying to have to pull the whole thing out every time to check water levels. The ice function to me seems pointless. Internet is ambiguous at best on how to use it. I’ve seen everything from don’t use a kcup and it’ll make 24 ounces of iced coffee, which I don’t see how that’s possible. And I saw YouTube video where it only makes 6 ounces, but it melts all the ice. if I wanted my ice to melt, I would just brew a normal cup of coffee and throw ice in it. Why bother with a special function?

Review: Brought this to replace an often finicky Slim model that died after 2 years. That machine featured multi stream which truly does bring out more flavor. Looked at reviews for a similar model and there were lot of the same problems so I opted for this model. Seems sturdy and well built and the brushed slate looks great. Coffee is plenty hot and the machine can be programmed so it’s ready to brew when you wake. UPDATED When first used I thought the coffee tasted weaker than it did with the Slim model. Now after about two weeks coffee is coming out good and strong when using the strong button and flavorful even without it. No splash, no weird noises – works great!

Review: I have never written a review before but there’s always I first time! I bought this brewer and loved it. On Monday it stopped working and I called Keurig. They were so friendly and helpful. She said that they would replace my machine at no cost. By Friday I received my new brewer and it works perfectly. Just wanted to compliment the customer service of Keurig and that they made the process very easy. I’ve used Keurig machines for many years and I will continue to use Keurig machines!

Review: Our last Keurig unit lasted several years and could have been repaired with new needles. I have piped water into the reservoir to make refilling easier but on this unit, because the face plate is solid on the water tank, it makes viewing the level more difficult. The faceplate is removable with one screw and I will solve for a better way to manage it but it was nice to see the level of water easily on the former unit. This one is back to push button and no longer has a digital screen which feels like a downgrade also, likely a cost mitigation to improve profits or reduce the need to increase pricing. It works, its just not as impressive though.
