Review: I own multiple hundred+ dollar Santoku and Chef’s knives, but this is the knife that I find myself going back to most often.
Review: My favorite knife is my OXO 6” chef, which is no longer available. So I’m constantly using, washing, and reusing it. I wanted a backup for it with the same heft, balance, sharpness, & grip. This chef seems to fit the bill. It’s very sharp and has a nice rubber grip. I use these knives for cutting up meat into bite sized morsels, and it helps to have a good grip, since meats create a lot of slipperiness if you’re using a wood or hard plastic handle. Seems to be made of good, hard stainless steel too. So far, so good!
Review: Bought just one of these knives to see what the quality was like. My wife does all the cooking. She absolutely loved it. I ended up buying a few more from the set and they did not disappoint. They have a great feel in your hand and are of excellent quality. Highly recommend.
Review: I saw the 8 inch version reviewed on a cooking show and decided to give it a try. I liked it so much I also bought the 6 inch version. These are sharp, ergonomic, and easy to maneuver. They have great heft and balance and are easily as good as my more expensive kitchen knives. I personally prefer the Genesis series to the Renaissance series because I like the handle better. It’s both comfortable and easy to grip. These are now my go to kitchen knives.
Review: Ever since I have found the Mercer Genesis knives, they are all have been buying. These have better handles, are better balanced and perform on par with my Henckels 4 star. I also think they look better. They show just how much the others are overpriced.
Review: This knife is very sharp. In a good way. Tomato skins have nothing on me now!
Review: I am too happy about this outstanding knife that is sharp and gets the job done!! I keep it on my office desk because my fiancé can not seem to remember where he puts things lately. I will cherish my Mercer Culinary Genesis 3.5-inch paring knife for as long as it lasts!!
Review: I’m a collector of knives. The 14c28n Sandvik Swedish steel is popular amongst knife enthusiasts for being durable, good edge retention, and being fairly easy to sharpen if you have the experience to do so.
