The Midea freezer is handy and beautiful. There is no cooling or freezing problem at the bottom. However, the top part is not cold enough to freeze food. For this reason, I use the detachable basket part for foods that do not need to be frozen much. Or sometimes I use it for food that I recently bought and planning to use in the near future.
The freezer keeps them cold enough but does not freeze them. This is my way of solving this problem, but I think this can be a bigger problem for other households. Therefore I think this feature needs to be developed. That’s why I’m giving Midea mini freezer 3 stars.
Final Verdict
Overall, I like Midea mini freezer. Because it is small and compact, I can fit it even in the narrowest space in the house. But despite its small size, it can hold quite a lot of products inside. I would say this is a plus. The fact that it can nearly store 100 liters of food and product and its low electricity consumption are just two of the reasons why I prefer this freezer.
The recessed handle makes it easy for you to open the door and use it. Thanks to its quality material, it makes the freezer looks modern and delicate. The Midea freezer is so easy to clean, drain and defrost the water when needed.

Review: I use it to complement my stand up freezer, so I don’t need to overload it, given that I open and close it so often. The chest freezer stays shut until I need to add something to the stand up. A chest freezer wouldn’t do it by itself. I have a thermometer and I check all my refrigeration regularly. It is right-on. Maximum electricity is about 150 watts or 1.5 amps, what an incandescent light bulb would draw. I got it when I realized that my stand-up was running 24 hours during the summer. The chest freezer will add years to the life of my main freezer, which I bought used.

Review: This 5.0 cubic foot chest freezer arrived very well packaged and with no dents anywhere. After plugging it in, within an hour it was down to 8 degrees, and soon further down to -2, its stable temp. Set-up was simple, except for extracting the retractable power cord from its storage pocket. The edge of the pocket cover happens to align with the edge of a vent cover, so it is not at all obvious and you end up wondering whether the vent cover needs to be removed. I had to search through YouTube videos to find the answer to that problem. Live and learn.
