Review: How long are things like this supposed to last? Ours lasted a year and 5 months and now the heat sensor isn’t working too shut off properly and I was burned on the handle last night. The top of the handle has been getting warm for a while now when I use it so I try to hold it in the middle to bottom area which can be tricky because my hand will slide up on the plastic unless I hold very tight or use my other hand under the pour spout to support it. But last night when I went to lift it, by the middle of the handle, it still burned me a bit and I thought a drop just got out somehow but when I went to grab it again the whole middle was hot. So I used a dish towel to pour the water. Other than the handle and it no longer working more, it worked fine for the rest of the time i had it and I liked it and made it easy to sanitize my newborns items and heat bottles.

Review: I’ve purchased this twice. Once for me, and another for my mom. I’ve had mine for 2 years and I just got my mom’s a month ago. My mom had a basic Hamilton Beech kettle that she’s had about 4 years. The light no longer worked, the lever that turned it on came off, and it began to rust inside. She’s impressed with this one but noted that the glass isn’t as nice, and she’s right. The glass on the HB stays crystal clear, doesn’t smudge easily, and there is no condensation or water beading up inside to make it cloudy. The Mueller does hold that water so it’s always kind of cloudy and muggy inside the container and it smudges easily. Another thing about this one is that if you accidentally leave the lid open, it will not turn off. It will continue to boil until you notice. One day I left it open because I was rushing, and couldn’t get back to make my tea until over an hour later. The water continued to boil until it boiled away and cracked the seals around the bottom on the inside. Pieces of plastic have broken off in there. I’m going to replace it but I don’t know if I’ll get another Mueller because im absent minded and I’ve done this several times.

Review: This is an amazing product I don’t care what anyone says I saw people complain about the most tedious things about it. It’s like this does it do the job 100% yes perfect for coffee tea or adding piping hot water to whatever quickly. Make ramen. Dish water dosent get hot enough. Boil up a picture of fresh hot water and add to sink water. Not exactly proper but if you don’t have got water this thing hass you covered. Bath not hot enough(not recommended) heat some water up and add to bath. I see people complaining about finger prints on the glass so what? Another note, water is too hot to drink so potential to burn your mouth is there.
