I used the food processor attachment. to make Southern style Cole slaw. In my old blender it would have taken at least a cup of water to do just half a head of cabbage. In the Ninja, I only added chunks of my cabbage, a little bit of Mayo, a couple tablespoons of raw sugar and lickety split I had my slaw. Clean-up is simple. Just remove the locking top(s), pull out the VERY sharp blade assembly. Rinse it off, then rinse out the bowl or pitcher you used. This is without doubt the best kitchen utensil I’ve purchased in years. 5+ stars from me. I highly recommend it.

Review: We had a Vitamix, but had to give it away when we moved. We had such good results with the Ninja Foodie grill that we decided to try the blender–we’re so glad we did! We love that we can blend ice cubes into slush for drinks, the best pesto–very powerful and sharp! We’re really glad we got the works, with 2 sized blender bowls and the 2 compact size–one of our best purchases, and so much better and costs less than the Vitamix.

Review: It’s powerful. However, the processor attachment doesn’t have a feeder chute on the lid. That is very disappointing. You have yo turn off the processor to add ingredients. Plus you can’t grate anything with the processor. My previous processor had attachable grater blades. This makes the processor almost useless! Poor design.

Review: This Ninja lives up to the hype. You literally can make snow by putting ice cubes in the blender. It’s very load with ice cubes and I worry that the plastic pitcher might break, but it hasn’t yet. There are some safety features like the lid on the pitcher has to be closed before the blender will turn on. I’ve used the food processor to shred apples and make nut butter and it works great. All the blades are extremely sharp. The blade assembly lifts out of the pitcher easily and makes cleaning the pitchers super easy. Nothing to screw onto the bottom, no gaskets to keep track of. The smoothie cups are very convenient and easy to use as well.
