Review: We’ve had this kettle for about a month. We were heating up our water on stovetop for our coffee but found that the heat of the water would burn the grounds we’d use. Review: It’s a great kettle. I bought one a bit over 2 years ago and just started acting up. It has to be positioned right, or it didn’t make contact. I guess I could have cleaned the contacts, but figured it has served me well for a long while. Figure 4 uses per day minimum at 2 cups each for approximately 740 days or 5920 cups of tea or coffee at a retail cost of $21 ….$0.0035 per cup … not bad. As it boils quickly, electric use is minimal. Oh, and it’s rather handsome unit with the glass pot lit by the blue light … no downside.
