Review: This coffeemaker is well made and very affordable. The carafe does not drip easily, and there are several choices for brew strength. HOWEVER, the first carafe tasted like cooked plastic. So did the next few. We did some internet research and ended up running about 10 cycles with vinegar and about 6 more with water over a period of several days. After that, the taste was fine. Apparently this is an issue with many coffeemakers now because of the type of plastic being used. I took off one star for this initial pain in the neck process.
