Granton Edge

One of the most notable features of the Victorinox Fibrox Pro 7-Inch Santoku Knife is its Granton edge. This edge features small divots that create air pockets between the blade and the food being cut. This innovative design prevents food from sticking to the blade and minimizes friction, making the knife highly efficient at slicing, dicing, and mincing.

The Granton edge is especially helpful when cutting through foods that are prone to sticking, such as cheese, vegetables, and meats. It allows you to make cleaner, more precise cuts without the hassle of food sticking to the blade. The non-slip grip also ensures that the knife is safe to use, even when your hands are wet or greasy. Review: my boyfriend loves it as his valentines gift 💕, when he unpacked the gift the blade had slid through the packaging and thank god we noticed before grabbing it. He said he loves how sharp and easy to handle it was but be careful with the packaging!

Lin Hart – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: This is a great shape and size for chopping vegetables. Don’t put it in the sink, I’m a slow learner I have cut myself twice.

Hosedragger – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: I bought this knife to replace another one of a similar size and shape. What I really like most about the knife is the quality vs. money spent. It’s light weight and very sharp. The handle fits nicely in my hand, and it is easy to maneuver while cutting. I will definitely be buying more Victorinox kitchen knives in the future.

Carol J – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: I have a number of Swiss Victorinox knives and love all of them. Get a sharpener and the knife will always have a good sharp blade – having a sharp blade means that you won’t cut yourself. I never buy expensive knives when these great Swiss made ones are available.

Melissa H – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: I purchased this knife as a gift for a younger sibling who has moved out on their own and realized that all their kitched equipment is crap. Not wanting to spend big bucks on high-end forged knifes like Wusthof, I picked out an asortment of Victorinox knifes for her christmas present, including this Santoku. Since they were staying with our family for the holiday, I got a chance to try out each knife and here’s what I thought:

Review: I only have one piece of advice… if you’re coming from having used a crappy knife before going to this one, DO NOT jump into the use of this knife without grabbing some carrots, a sweet potato, and some other difficult veggies to chop, and do it slowly and with deliberate intention to learn the new feel of this great knife… less you wish to include a fingertip into your dinner. I do not say this because the knife is slipper or a bad grip. I say this because you may come to use this knife, right out of the box, with the same energy you had when using your horribly dull and poopy ex-chef’s knife.

Pam Rockstad – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: This knife needs to be sharpened about once a month.
