Introduction

If you are looking for ways to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet easily, we have a fantastic alternative to consuming healthy foods. You can eat more nutritious food more conveniently using a blender. Eating healthily in a home might occasionally be demanding, especially if you have kids.

Everyone wants to eat healthily, but it can be challenging to include enough fruits and vegetables in your diet each day. All those nutritious ingredients can be blended swiftly to create the tastiest juices, smoothies, and purees.

This appliance is excellent for ensuring that you get enough fruit. Up to five pieces of fruit can be found in a cup of juice. With this, you more than satisfy the recommended amount of at least two pieces of fruit per day. Because they save you a lot of work, they are frequently used to make delicious fruit juices.

After the appliance has demonstrated its skills, the components are changed into a delightful smoothie, a substantial fruit drink packed with beneficial vitamins and pulp. Pass the mixture through a sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp if you want a typical fruit juice.

Also, smoothies are frequently made in blenders. Similar to fruit juice, a smoothie also includes fiber and pulp in addition to the juice. Fruit juice and smoothies differ in that a smoothie is ready right away after blending, but fruit juice still needs to be sieved to get the pulp out of the finished product. In addition to other benefits, the pulp’s high fiber content is healthy for your intestines. Therefore, we can say that a smoothie is much more nutritious than juice.

Pros Cons
Ten different speed controls A bit noisy

Ice-cutting blades
Dishwasher-safe, BPA-free lid and container

Who Is It For?

A salad is regarded as a wholesome and filling meal. In particular when trying to eat as naturally, healthily, and fiber-rich as possible. But did you realize that blended fruits and veggies still have some nutritional value?

In actuality, blended vegetables are healthier than raw ones. This results from the plant cells being broken down in the Vitamix appliance. It enables the body to absorb the most nutritional value possible. Additionally, you may add protein-rich items like milk, yogurt, or skyr because this appliance mixes ingredients effectively, adding even more nutritional value.

It makes soft fruit, vegetables, or meat into a puree with the greatest possible ease. Of course, harder vegetables like potatoes, carrots, and apples must first be softened by boiling or steaming them.

Combining ingredients with a Vitamix appliance is helpful because it eliminates the need for a typical hand mixer. The Vitamix product is far more powerful than a hand mixer, and its blades spin much faster.

Therefore, avoid blending for an excessive amount of time because doing so will activate an excessive amount of gluten and result in a problematic baked good. Thankfully, the pitcher is transparent, allowing you to monitor the consistency of the mixture.

Also, compared to a smoothie, a cup of fruit juice has far more sugar. The reason for this is that a cup of juice may be filled much more easily than a cup of smoothie can be. A smoothie is loaded with fiber, unlike a typical fruit juice. These fibers slow down how quickly carbohydrates are absorbed, causing the blood sugar level to rise from meals more gradually.

As a result, the fibers are associated with a lower incidence of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. The fibers also provide food for the beneficial bacteria in the gut. So if you are a fan of drinking juice, we highly suggest you invest in a Vitamix appliance to switch to a healthy alternative.

The Features of Vitamix Explorian Blender

Easy to Clean

The process of cleaning your appliance can be tedious. Cleaning the jar after each use can become laborious because of the sharp blades to avoid and the sticky contents like peanut butter that frequently stick to the walls. In comparison, many blender canisters cannot be put in the dishwasher, but Vitamix appliances can.

Even some dishwasher-safe models are often tall and thick and take up more space than necessary, especially because a blender may easily be made to clean itself. Thankfully, this is not the case for the Vitamix appliance. There is an effortless way to clean the Vitamix product without scrubbing or disassembling it.

To begin with, cleaning your blender as soon as you finish using it is the best course of action. Cleaning will only get more dreadful if you let the leftovers dry out. Move the contents into another carafe, cup, or serving dish as soon as the blending process is completed.

To use the self-clean feature of the Vitamix appliance, you just need to follow a few steps. First, hot water from the faucet or a kettle should be used to halfway fill the blender. After that, please fill the carafe with a few drops of dish soap. You might add half a lemon to clean it more easily.

Put the cover on, and blend for a minute or two on high speed. Dump the liquid into the sink. Run warm water through the sink to wash the carafe and lid to finalize the cleaning process.

Powerful

You can almost use any ingredients to be chopped or pureed in the Vitamix blender. Even tougher substances can be processed in this appliance. It can quickly chop things like ice cream or almonds, which is undoubtedly advantageous. You can even produce homemade fresh nut milk using a Vitamix blender.

Imagine having to cut, chop, and purée all those vegetables, fruits, and nuts yourself in order to prepare a healthy supper. By the time you’re through, you’ve probably either given up on food or decided to order delivery. Using a Vitamix blender frees up a lot of your time, so you may quickly and easily prepare a super-healthy, nourishing dinner daily.

In many cases, a Vitamix blender is a much better choice than a full-fledged food processor. In addition to being more adaptable, the Vitamix blender is also far more portable and user-friendly. It is ideal for creating a silky smooth puree from fruits or vegetables.

Versatility

The Vitamix Explorian blender is pretty straightforward to use. It has multiple speed options to choose from. It is easy to produce chunky textures for salsas, thick soups, and other dishes thanks to the pulse switch’s fast bursts of power. You can heat, chop, grind, blend or emulsify the ingredients to your liking. Vitamix blender is a handy kitchen appliance for almost all your cooking needs.

Value for Money

Cost is influenced by strength, dependability, and premium materials. A less expensive model is frequently sufficient if you only intend to use your blender to prepare smoothies.

Still, we suggest you check your budget and purchase a more advanced one if possible. Since the Vitamix blender is an appliance you can use for many years and has many features, you can prevent buying different products again and again.

While picking a kitchen appliance, you should also mind your space and try not to fill your kitchen counter while you can choose only one product instead of buying three or four. Pricier brands provide both power and variety. You can knead dough, ground spices, and make nut butter in more advanced blenders, such as the Vitamix Explorian blender.

Final Verdict

One cannot overstate how practical a blender is. A blender has a lot of capability and may assist you in regularly preparing wholesome meals and beverages. Investing in a Vitamix blender makes sense if you’re searching for a multipurpose, simple-to-clean, long-lasting kitchen tool to assist you with chopping, blending, pureeing, and preparing juices and smoothies.

Review: We mainly make smoothies, but I was interested in having something that could make nut milks, peanut butter, etc. I had an old Hamilton Beach brand blender which lasted along time, but wasn’t particularly powerful. When it started to burn out I decided to get something a little nicer. I did a LOT of research. The Vitamix generally scored pretty high on all the tests, with some complaints of it being too loud, heavy, powerful??? and expensive. I decided to bite the bullet and buy one. It is loud for sure. It’s heavy and big. It is super powerful. Some people complained that it’s too powerful and that at high speed it creates an air pocket around the blades. Adding a little liquid usually solves that problem for me, the few times it happened. It happened once making hummus and I just used the little tamp down tool they give you to push stuff into the blades. You can just turn the power down a few steps too. I don’t really see it as a problem. I’d rather have the extra power there. The fact that the blades aren’t removeable makes cleaning a little harder, especially with the thick stuff, but you can usually just pour some soapy water in there and run the blades at high speed to clean them. I think my biggest complaint is that the pitcher doesn’t feel very secure on the mount. Like my picture shows, you put the pitcher on the motor mount and when you turn the blades on and the torque kicks in, the whole pitcher twists on the mount. It doesn’t feel totally secure. I don’t think it would ever go flying off or anything. Once it twists and catches on the rubber footing underneath, it feels secure. It just seems like an odd thing that Vitamix would make a pitcher base that is a little larger than the mount it’s sitting on. Unless there’s some design reason for it. It just feel off. That being said, it’s an amazing blender. I make smoothies with cashews, dry oats, chia seeds, etc, and with the old blender it was always a little gritty. This things blends everything 100%, no leftover bits of things in the smoothy. I made oatmilk and it was totally smooth, no bits to strain out. Maybe I could have gotten similar results with a cheaper blender? I don’t regret spending the money. It feels super solid and well built.

Review: I wanted to start making my own smoothies at home since I started adding up the $8/$9 dollar price tag of one. I had another blender, but it would leave the pulp of fruits or make the smoothie too grainy. This mixer virtually removes any pulp (which I do not like) and makes the creamiest smoothie. Although it cost a pretty penny, it will save me money down the road. Especially since it makes more than just juices and smoothies. It also makes soups, peanut butter, etc. Going to watch more videos on what I can try now that I have one.

Review: This is my third blender. My first one lasted about 25 years, but that was before smoothies, and I only used it rarely for meal prep. My second one was heavily used, and only lasted about 6 years. My Vitamix puts the other two blenders to shame. My previous blenders always left bits of food unblended. My Vitamix not only blends every scrap of food, but much faster, and to a smooth texture that I had never known before. And clean up is amazingly easy. All of the hype I’ve heard about the Vitamix is definitely true. I do have one complaint. I purchased the tamper and scraper too. Though I don’t have to use these every time I blend something, you really do need these items for efficient use of the blender. As expensive as the Vitamix is, it should have come with these needed accessories.

Review: I bought this blender about 6 months ago. After doing some research we settled for this model as we though it would fit our needs best. We wanted a blender that fit under our kitchen cabinets and there is only two of us so most of the time we do small batches. The size and shape of the Jar that comes with this model is perfect for us. There is another Jar that fits under standard kitchen cabinets but have a wider base and does not do well for small batches. We have been very please with this blender but all of the sudden we started to notice a small drip on the base after removing the jar. Checking out the bottom of the Jar we noticed a hairline crack in one of the corners. I don’t recall dropping the jar but we might have. Anyway, I called Vitamix customer service, and they send me a new Jar. I like when a company stands behind their products.

Review: I had a Ninja Chef… the container failed and a replacement was more than the original cost of the unit… also, grainy “smoothies”… then I bought a Kitchen Aid… much better smoothies, but the blade assembly melted during a blend – pieces of plastic all in the blend… I bought this Vitamix Explorian E310, and it has been amazing. The hype is true, and it is much quieter than the others I’ve had. I use this every day (most days more than once) and it delivers big time. The quality of the results is beyond compare. I understand now why all the restaurants/smoothie bars/coffee shops use Vitamix. The absolute best. The investment is worth it, and if you pay $$$ for your smoothies or blended coffee drinks, this thing pays for itself. It does the work quickly, and cleaning is even quicker.
