Review: I’ve had the Weber Q 1400 for a week, and have grilled steaks twice and Italian sausages once. I absolutely love this grill, and look forward to using it often all year round. I haven’t had to clean it beyond scraping the cooled fat out of the foil catch pan, but it can’t be that hard. Leaving the grill on high for several minutes after taking the food off will burn any stuck-on food and make it easy to scrape the grill plate clean.

Review: I love it. I do miss my charcoal grill and spreading wet wood chips over the top for the smoke flavor. At 65 I decided to move in to an apartment. After 3 years I was missing my grilling. Other than 1 big barrel grill purchased when the grandkids were younger I always preferred the Weber. I had both a gas and charcoal Weber grill. Of course state law restricts grilling on apartment patio with gas and charcoal. Here comes the electric. So far I have used this 2 times to build up som grit over the cast iron top. Next week will try cooking some ribs. The flavor has been great so far and looking forward to many more tasty items to cook. Other than charcoal to me the taste is better than a gas grill which I used occasionally. I did get an extra 10 ft extension cord (with appropriate wattage and amperage) to bring it further away from apartment siding and walls. As you can see from photo this grill fits great in my small storage room next to my patio. I would purchase this Weber again.

Review: Let me begin with the negatives: there are no negatives about the Weber Q1400 electric grill. There are only positives, sincerely. This grill might be small but it is mighty in terms of its cooking power, how it fits into any size space, from very small to large. It also is surprisingly lightweight — 50lbs — and can be lifted and moved easily. I particularly like the facts that this grill is electric: no more heavy gas/propane tanks to haul and elimination of charcoal and accompanying issues such as the aftermath of cooking (ash, etc.), wet or damp charcoal, difficulty lighting charcoal (usually when the grill is needed for an Event), and so on.

Review: I love this grill (super easy to clean) and I used it once a week but after little over than 2 years the heating element went down and it needs replacement (OEM heating element is ~$70)…according to some other reviews here it sounds like lifespan of this part is 2-3 years…not cheap…with a little more than $70 you can purchase a george foremann…

Review: We have this grill on our patio just outside our family room and it has been terrific. We’ve had it for several months now and use it often – we bought the recommended stand (not weber) and cover (very reasonably priced). We’ve had many guests over for dinner and have grilled everything from fish to burgers to rack of lamb. It fits 2 racks of lamb, or about 6-8 burgers. And everything tastes great. We generally turn it up almost to the highest temp, then we use a meat thermometer to monitor progress. Easy to clean! Many guests take pics of this and plan to buy it because they are sick of propane grills, which do not taste any better than this electric model. Love it!!
