Review: I loved this coffee pot as soon as I unboxed it. It was simple, yet elegant. I had always wanted to use the programmable features of being able to set up a time of when my coffee could be brewed in the morning without me, but I always got frustrated over all the buttons needed to press in order to set a simple time. I would get discouraged and instead of messing with it, I would just decide to turn my pot on as soon as I woke up. When I purchased this one I looked for 5 simple things.

Review: coffee pots where you have to boil the water first in a separate kettle then pour over the coffee grounds – the taste is supreme. The problem is that it takes forever, you can only make 7 cups max, and the pot does not keep the coffee warm. This coffee pot is very close to that original taste…and it is fast. I swear, the coffee from this pot tastes better than Mr. Coffee or even the the more posh models.

Review: Makes good coffee if you make a small batch. We cannot make a full pot because we like it strong. If you try to use more than 3/4 cup of grounds to brew they end up in the pot and in the holder for the basket so it’s quite messy. It brews pretty quickly and is nice and hot. But, the basket is too small or it fills up with water too fast or doesn’t filter through quickly enough but there’s definitely a problem with the quantity of grounds which can be used. We don’t fill it all the way. There’s always room at the top but it still spills over.

Review: We like the way the carafe pulls out and slides back on the heat plate. What we don’t like is, there is a lot of condensation each time you lift lid to fill reservoir that condensation runs down the back of the reservoir and gets all over the counter and back of reservoir and has to be wiped up every time. Other than that, we like the coffee maker except for having to wipe water off the back of coffee maker and counter. But, I will say our counter is always clean around coffee maker.
