Who Is This Product For?

The Cuisinart TOA-60 air fryer is a good choice for a household kitchen with appropriate counter space. It’s ideal for families with four or more people. This air fryer and toaster oven is a better alternative than a solitary air fryer if you create recipes that require high temperatures, such as toasting and broiling. However, if you are content with simple air frying, you should not spend any additional money on this. It will be an excellent alternative for you if you are seeking a good-quality air fryer with a rack.

The Features of Cuisinart TOA-60 Convection Toaster Oven Air Fryer

1- Capacity

Cuisinart-TOA-60-Convection-Toaster-Oven-Air-Fryer-2No products found.

The Cuisinart TOA-60 isn’t your typical air fryer. As a result, the cooking chamber is not equivalent to that of classic coffee makers or air fryers. This full-size toaster oven, on the other hand, has adequate capability to cook for a large family of 5 to 6 people. Bake a 12-inch pizza, roast an entire 4-pound chicken, toast six slices of bread, or air fry 3 pounds of chicken wings in no time.

You’d be forgiven for thinking the unit is enormous, given the amount of cooking you can do with it. The unit is only 15.5″ x 16″ x 14″ in size. Plus, because it’s practically three appliances in one, you’ll save valuable kitchen space.

2- Temperature Range

The temperature range of the Cuisinart TOA-60 is quite broad. It can reach temperatures of up to 450°F, whereas a standard air fryer can only reach temperatures of up to 400°F. On the plus side, owing to the high temperature, this air fryer oven may also be used as a toaster oven.

This unit’s lower temperature range is 250°F. The keep-warm option, on the other hand, allows you to drop the temperature even further. Because of its compact interior, this product heats and cooks extremely quickly. As a result, it may take a few tries to determine the perfect cooking time and temperature for your meals.

3- Operation

Air Fry, Convection Bake, Broil, Warm, Convection Broil, Bake, and Toast are among the seven culinary functions available on the toaster oven. All these alternatives provide a superior cooking experience and will save you a significant amount of time compared to using a traditional oven. You are not required to adjust the temperature. Every cooking function has been meticulously engineered to ensure that every meal is cooked to perfection.

Turning the toast darkening dial, for example, activates a timer that, like the 0–60-minute timer, will automatically switch off the oven when it’s done, but with a predetermined time for ease and perfect toasting every time. Warm mode maintains a preset temperature, which is ideal for reheating leftovers or keeping your food hot and fresh.

4- Design

The TOA-60 has been designed to be both functional and user-friendly. With just four knobs and one button, its extremely basic design offers an amazingly vast range of cooking options. With one sleek, space-saving gadget, you can bake, roast, broil, and even air fry. The Cuisinart TOA-60 Toaster Oven Air Fryer features a lovely silver exterior and a traditional, almost minimalist style that makes it ideal for any kitchen countertop.

The oven has a door and a wine glass so you can keep an eye on whatever you’re cooking without disturbing the process. Its small size allows it to be used in almost any place. This machine has two rack configurations for greater cooking flexibility. This appliance features a polarized plug (one blade is broader than the other) that will only fit in one direction in a polarized plug. Because polarized plugs serve to prevent electrical shocks if an energized section of the appliance is touched, it was designed this way for safety.

Final Verdict

If you enjoy cooking and want a range of cooking alternatives at your fingertips, the TOA-60 is ideal. It takes some getting used to the efficiency with which it heats and cooks your meals. It’s well-made and simple to operate. To get the best results, don’t touch the outside while cooking (it’s hot enough to burn your hand) and let it preheat before using. The Cuisinart toa-60 may not be the greatest product available. There are toaster ovens with more advanced features that are better and less expensive on the market. However, it is far from the worst.

It’s a fantastic kitchen workhorse. There are numerous cooking options available. The Cuisinart TOA-60 is intended and built to be a reliable and simple-to-use kitchen workhorse. With simple multi-functionality that anyone can use confidently, you can save valuable space in your kitchen.

Review: There’s a lot to like about this unit: as an air fryer, it has the largest surface area I found, larger than the biggest Phillips or GoWise units (and surface area, rather than volume, is what really matters). It makes some delicious food and ticks some excellent boxes. Unlike the GoWise air fryer I had started with, but returned because the coating on the pan was coming off after only 3 uses, these trays are more durable. I debated whether to give it 2 or 3 stars, and overall I am keeping it so I gave it 3. But there are some pretty serious drawbacks.

Review: This product delivers as advertised! It does all the things you want in a compact countertop air fryer and then some. I personally love the nostalgic (although not precise) timers. So you have to keep an eye on your food. The teenager is getting acclimated to that…. My only “complaint” is the steel insert for under the air fryer basket. It has oxidized so much after about 20 uses that I am seeking a replacement. A $30 replacement for a machine that I got for under market price. Thank you Black Friday…. Nonetheless, the quality of the catch pan for under the air fryer basket is less than ideal. I am hoping cuisinart makes good on this but it doesn’t make he machine less of a valuable commodity in my kitchen. It is a godsend.

Review: Hands down, the best countertop appliance we own. The cook time using this is amazing, and usually half of what most directions will say; the caveat is you need to keep a close eye until you’re used to to this since the typical cook times listed don’t align to each setting. Being a mama to a 2 and 3 year old, this cooks food perfectly and makes it easy to accommodate their picky taste when I’m needing to cook multiple meal options. So far, all frozen pizza options fit perfectly in here and now we opt to use this over our nice, large convection oven due to the time and quality of the final product. Highly recommend!

Review: Bought this because we had a toaster oven and wanted an air fryer but not a lot of counter space. Got rid of toaster oven as this makes good toast. Not much bigger than toaster oven and more versatile. Drawer air fryers have a bad smell as they are a lot of plastic (so many people said in reviews) and didn’t want the smell. This is all stainless steel and no plastic parts to smell. Not great for chicken breasts. Kinda messy but great for most everything my wife likes to cook. Recommend it!

Review: We bought the Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven by Cuisinart, 7-1 Oven with Bake, Grill, Broil & Warm Options in October 2022, and haven’t used the regular oven since! It’s amazing how easy it is to use and how beautifully and quickly it cooks! Meats are cooked in a fraction of the time and come out moist and juicy! We love the generous size of the product and basket – we can fit most anything the two of us would want in it, so we can both eat at the same time! For air fryers, it’s essential that you allow room for the air to move around the food to cook everything evenly. This product has ample room for that without having to shake a basket to move the food around. LOVE IT!

Review: We have cooked salmon, steaks, tri-tip, burgers, pork chops…all colk extremely well!! The quality of this and all its parts is amazing. The air fryer basket is coated so well…cleanup is so easy…the sponge doesn’t catch and snag on the basket at all!! The grilling accessory is coated well and makes cleanup just effortless…it truly is a great alternative to cooking for 2 in a big oven…we live it and also got one for our 5th wheel trailer!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Review: This is a fantastic multi-function oven! No longer heating up the standard oven for small dishes, Brussels sprouts and pao de queijo came out perfectly. I don’t understand the reviews about overheating, they seem very scammy to me. I tested this oven on every setting with an oven thermometer and not only was the temperature true, it remained consistent on EVERY setting and throughout the cooking time. Looking forward to more experiments!
