Who Is This Product For?

The KitchenAid Mini Food Processor is perfect for home cooks who want to save time on meal prep. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to simplify everyday cooking tasks like chopping, mixing, and pureeing. The mini size and simple operation make it perfect for small families or individuals who don’t need a large food processor or for those with limited counter space. It’s also great for those who have limited kitchen space or need to store it away when not in use.

The Features of the KitchenAid Mini Food Processor

The KitchenAid Mini Food Processor comes with a range of features that make it a versatile and convenient kitchen gadget. Here are the four features that stand out the most:

Convenient Work Bowl

The KitchenAid Mini Food Processor comes with a 3.5 cup work bowl that is the perfect size for everyday use. The bowl is made of BPA-free plastic, ensuring that it is safe for you and your family. It features a locking blade, handle, and pour spout for easy serving.

The locking blade ensures that the blade is securely in place before you start processing, preventing any accidents. The handle makes it easy to transport the bowl to the counter or sink, and the pour spout makes it easy to transfer the processed food to another container. The work bowl is also dishwasher-safe, making it easy to clean.

Stainless Steel Blade

The KitchenAid Mini Food Processor comes with a uniquely designed stainless steel blade that is perfect for chopping and pureeing your ingredients. The blade locks in place for convenient pouring, ensuring that your food is processed evenly. It is also sharp and durable, ensuring that it can handle most ingredients with ease. The blade is easy to remove and clean, making it a convenient feature for everyday use.

Precise Control

The KitchenAid Mini Food Processor offers two speeds and pulse operation, giving you precise control over the texture of your food. The low speed is ideal for chopping soft ingredients like herbs, while the high speed is perfect for tougher ingredients like nuts and seeds.

The pulse operation is great for creating coarse or fine results, making it ideal for anything from creating a chunky pico de gallo to a smooth sauce. The precise control ensures that you can achieve the desired texture for your ingredients, making your cooking and meal prep easier and more efficient.

The KitchenAid Mini Food Processor comes with a drizzle basin that is perfect for making dressings and sauces. The basin is designed to allow you to add liquid ingredients like oil, vinegar, or lemon juice while the processor is running, ensuring that the ingredients are incorporated evenly.

This feature is particularly useful for those who love making homemade salad dressings or sauces for pasta dishes. The drizzle basin ensures that your dressings and sauces are perfectly emulsified, giving your dishes a professional touch.

Final Verdict

Overall, I found the KitchenAid Mini Food Processor to be a handy kitchen tool that simplifies everyday meal prep. Its compact size and precise control make it perfect for small families or individuals who want to save time in the kitchen. The device is easy to clean and store, and the drizzle basin is a great feature for those who love making sauces and dressings.

The only downsides are that it can be noisy, and it has limited capacity, which may not be suitable for larger families. Nonetheless, the KitchenAid Mini Food Processor is a great investment for anyone who wants to simplify their cooking routine.

Review: My kitchen is small with a serious lack of cabinet, counter & shelf space. So I cannot have many cooking gadgets. But I still cook from scratch. I bought this to make quick work veggies for my bolognese sause. ( Carrot, onion, celery,& garlic) The 3.5 C capasity works well for this. But I pulse them in batches. Plus do a quick rough chop first. Then It will pulse to whatever size you need. I peel and rough chop a medium to medium lage onion in 1 batch. Then give just a 2 to 3 quick pulses on the lower speed to achieve a nice dice. IF you pulse longer, it will pulse into a paste if that is what you need. It will dice ( or puree IF desired) at least 1 medium carrot rough chopped and 1 med stalk of celery and 3 fat garlic clove in 1 batch.

Review: I was reluctant to buy food processor because it will take the precious counter/cabinet space. I either chopped the garlic with knife or Vitamix. It is a lot of work chopping garlic to make it consistently small. It’s not easy to mince it nicely with Vitamix either (if you only have a small batch). I finally decided to give this food processor another try…and I am glad that I did it! It nicely miced the garlic in few seconds! I am very happy with the purchase because this little machine not only saves me some time and hassle — it is easy to clean and it doesn’t take too much of cabinet space.

Review: Good power for the compact size. Made a few rounds of hummus and it didn’t slow down, tho is does get a bit warm after a batch, but nothing bad.

Gerald Davis – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: Bought this to replace an aging Cuisinart mini chopper. Like this KitchenAid model even better. Powerful and processes wonderfully. Have used frequently to make biscuit dough – works perfectly for blending dry ingredients and cutting in butter – makes it so easy. Like the cord storage too.

Review: Need to do just a bit of chopping etc. and don’t want to fire up the big Cuisinart? This is the solution. An onion here, a few carrots there, etc. It’s great and easier to clean than its big partner. Worth every penny.

Review: This is the best little handy dandy chopper ever. It finely chops onions evenly, will chop anything from dry to wet items in seconds and It’s so easy to clean. It’s also light and just the right size for day to day cooking. I love it!

Review: I purchased the red, it works well & does exactly what it’s supposed to do! Love that you can move the front switch to choose an option. The only problem that I have, is that the lid is hard to slide to close. This may be because it’s new, but other than that, I really like this little chopper! (None are easy to clean, so 4 stars on clean, but 5 stars for chopping & blending power!)

Review: NIce size for leaving on counter so it is handy for the little chopping jobs – like onions or nuts, etc. Easy to clean. A bit tricky to get the hang of getting lid on correctly for it to operate, but all in all a great little appliance.
