Review: I had to borrow a mini crock over the Christmas holiday. Afterwards I made it a point to check out prices and brands to see if it was possible to get my own. The one I chose is a 2 qt. It is the perfect size, easy to store, and light weight enough to transport even with the recipe already made and ready to go. It takes up very little counter space when everyone is bringing a dish and adding them to the serving area. I love it and may even buy another one.

Review: I’ve had for almost two months, and ive used it four times. The nacho dip for a party was kept at the perfect temperature on warm. In hindsight for things that do not need to cook for hours, I would recommend heating them in a pot on the stove and transferring to the slow cooker to keep it party ready. (In further hindsight, things taking a few hours to come to temp in a slow cooker is kinda the whole point). I made a small green bean casserole in it as we only had two green bean casserole eaters for Thanksgiving, that cooked exactly as expected and came out great. It was easily enough for 4-6 people as a side dish. I used it to keep a (pre cooked) gravy at serving temp for a few hours. Finally I made a spaghetti sauce in it, also worked great. I have larger slow cookers, but a nice portable small one for sides, sauces, and dips has been wonderful.
